influences on my double page spread article text

In order to get inspiration for the text on my double page spread article, I looked at some articles in recently published magazines. For this reason my text is arranged into columns and is in dark colour so as to contrast onto the dark background of the image behind it. The article contains information on his newest album which is just released, and it too contains information of his up-coming tour, for this reason fans of the artist will be drawn to read the article in order to find out new information which would excite them. The target audience for my magazine starts at the age of people around sixteen. For this reason I have kept the language quite basic so as to be understood by all ages and classes of people who read the articles in the magazine. If, for example, the magazine was aimed at elder people of a higher class the language contained in my article would be much more formal, however as it is targeted to a younger audience I have kept the language quite informal and seemingly 'chatty'.
